1. The subscription
TAEO Inc. offers access to the TAEO | EdTech app through a single subscription of 50 US dollars (USD 50) per month, which renews automatically every month on the same date you subscribed. Payments are processed by Stripe.
2. How to cancel
You can cancel at any time, without penalty and without having to give a reason, from the app’s billing options or by writing to soporte@taeo.tech from the email address associated with your account.
- Cancelling stops all future charges.
- You keep access to the app until the end of the monthly period already paid.
- We will confirm the cancellation by email.
3. Refund within 7 days
You may request a full refund of any subscription charge, whether the first one or a renewal, if you ask within 7 calendar days of the charge date.
- Once the refund is approved, the subscription is cancelled and access to paid features ends at that moment.
- After 7 days, that month’s charge is non-refundable, except in the cases listed in section 4. You can always cancel to avoid future charges.
4. Cases that are always refunded
Regardless of the 7-day period, we will refund:
- Duplicate charges or charges made in error.
- Charges made after a cancellation you had already requested.
- The prorated unused portion of the paid period if TAEO closes your account without any breach of the Terms and conditions on your part, or if it substantially reduces what your subscription includes and you decide to cancel.
- Any other case in which applicable consumer protection law grants you a right to a refund.
5. How to request a refund
Write to soporte@taeo.tech from your account’s email address, stating the date and amount of the charge. We will reply within 2 business days.
If the refund applies, we will issue it within the following 5 business days to the same payment method used for the charge. It may take an additional 5 to 10 business days to appear, depending on your bank or card issuer.
The refund is issued for the same amount charged, in US dollars. Exchange rate differences or fees applied by your bank do not depend on TAEO.
6. Before filing a chargeback
If you do not recognize a charge or have a problem with it, please write to us first at soporte@taeo.tech. We will resolve it quickly. This does not limit the rights granted to you by your bank or by law.
7. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will publish the new version on this page with its effective date. Changes will not affect charges made before that date.
